🔎 Chart Detective

A price chart shows price (up the side) and time (across the bottom). You can read the high (the top price), the low (the bottom price), and whether the price finished higher or lower.

A candlestick packs four numbers into one shape: the open, the close, the high and the low for that time period.

Charts describe the past. They never predict the future. A shape that went up before does not promise it will go up again.
